Data Processing Agreement
This summary forms part of The Team Sheet's terms and gives club welfare officers a clear view of our processing commitments.
The roles
The coach or club is the controller of team and player information. The Team Sheet is the processor and handles that information only to provide and support the service.
What is processed
Player first names, surname initials, shirt numbers, availability replies and match records; team, fixture and training information; and parent-device access tokens or opted-in notification addresses.
Our duties
We follow the controller's lawful instructions, keep information confidential, apply appropriate technical and organisational security, limit access, help with rights requests and compliance, and make relevant information available for reasonable assurance.
Sub-processors and location
Our hosting and database provider processes information in the UK or European Union. A payment provider will be added when online payments are introduced. We require appropriate data-protection terms from every sub-processor.
Incidents
We will tell the controller without undue delay after confirming a personal-data breach affecting their team information and provide the information reasonably needed to respond.
Return and deletion
On request or when the service ends, information will be deleted in line with the service's 12-month retention period, except for limited records we must keep for legal, security or accounting reasons.
